I really enjoyed playing Violet lately because of the overworld and the amount of new things you can do but after going back and playing Shield again, I realized the parts I missed about Shield and the parts that I liked about Violet.

Shield

• The outfits
• Getting to talk with NPCs
• Going inside buildings
• Large Pokedex
• Weather variety
• Smooth performance
• Level scaling in wild areas
• Pokemon interaction in camp
• Curry(Way better food and implementation than the sandwiches in Violet)

Violet

• Menu optimizations
• Pokemon walking with trainer from the start
• Unisex clothing and hairstyles
• Exploration focus
• In-game camera
• Poses and emotes
• Camera controls for most areas
• Raids
